Terrible news, but thankfully nobody was hurt!
Claudia Schiffer‘s home, Coldham Hall, in Suffolk county in England was badly damaged in a fire yesterday, with several outbuildings, former stables, and the clocktower caught in the blaze.
The main house was fortunately saved from the fire by approximately 40 firefighters who worked for two hours to extinguish the flames.
Built in 1574 by Robert Rookwood, the Elizabethan structure had been home to various famous residents over its storied 400-plus year history.
The supermodel, who shares the home with her producer husband Matthew Vaughn and their three children, mainly uses the place as a vacation residence while living full-time in her other home in Notting Hill.
None of the family members were at Coldham Hall at the time of the fire, which investigators have concluded was an accident.
Although it’s always upsetting to lose even part of a home, it is very fortunate that there were no reported injuries to any people or animals.
