It doesn’t come as a complete shock to us that Japan wouldn’t be enthusiastic about this movie after their recent tragedy.
Warner Entertainment Japan Inc. has announced that theaters will no longer show Clint Eastwood’s film Hereafter in Japan, because they feel the “tsunami scenes” are “not appropriate” at this time.
The Matt Damon-starring film opened in Japan in late February.
