Although Clive Davis was reportedly paying a majority of Whitney Houston‘s bills before her tragic death last Saturday, as the singer was allegedly broke, the music mogul has left the costs of her funeral to go to her family.
According to an insider:
“Yes, Clive was paying the majority of Whitney’s bills before she died. He was even paying for her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel; she was out of money. She didn’t have anything left. Clive won’t be paying for any part of Whitney’s funeral though. Whitney’s family will be responsible for all the costs.”
So devastating to think that someone who had so much let her life get so out of control that she had absolutely nothing left.
And although it was more than generous of Clive to support her the way that he did, we think it’s probably for the best that her family take care of the arrangements for her final resting place.
