CNN's Don Lemon Receives Well-Deserved Praise For Calling Trump A 'Racist' Amid 'Shithole Countries' Controversy!

Don Lemon has EPICLY laid into Donald Trump.
Following the report about the President’s remark about immigrants coming from “shithole countries,” the CNN Tonight host dragged the Cheeto-In-Chief for being a racist. Shots fired!!

At the opening of his broadcast, the 51-year-old journalist stated:

“The President of the United States is racist. A lot of us already knew that.”

Lemon, who is NOT a favorite of the Trumpster’s, went on to call the reported comments “frankly disgusting” and noted that “they are not shocking, and not even really surprising ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ because this is who Donald Trump is. This is what he thinks.” POTUS has since denied the derogatory remarks and defended that he simply used “tough” language.
Don didn’t stop there as he also spoke directly to Trump supporters during the telecast. For those who may’ve been “taken aback” by his words, Lemon relayed:

“I don’t really care if you are ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I hope you are. … For years, I and others have been trying to tell you, the American people, that this man was was exhibiting bigoted behavior. How many examples do you need of this?”

And just a quick FYI if you’re still blindly following Trump, Senator Dick Durbin, who was present for the “shithole” remarks, even went public to confirm POTUS did say those “hateful things and he said them repeatedly.”

Lemon later advised those who continue to support 45 need to do some “self examination.” He added:

“What does it say about you that no matter what, no matter what, you continue to make excuses for this man, for his vile behavior. Doesn’t that make you just as bad if not worse than him?”

DAYUMMMM. Don pulled out all of the punches.
Don’s frankness garnered him quite a bit of praise on social media. Fans on Twitter applauded:
