People in North Thailand are going elephant bat shiz crazy over coffee.
The reason why??? Their coffee is full of elephant poop!
Named Black Ivory coffee, only the wealthy and well off travelers can afford this cup of joe.
At $1100 a kilogram, it’s one of the world’s most expensive brews!
So how is this coffee made????
When elephants eat coffee, their stomach acid breaks down the protein that cause coffee to be bitter. The elephant’s stomach also “slow cooks” the cafe for 15-30 minutes.
So when you drink the coffee, no bitter face and warm, bubbling coffee!!!!! Except there’s one tiny problem…
It’s still elephant poop!
