All good mediocre things must come to an end.
Kate Moss has decided to end her partnership with Topshop.
There have been rumors going around that it was actually Sir Phillip Green who put the kibosh on Cokate’s designing gig after a feud erupted between the two, but he insists that’s not the case.
Green explains:
“There have been no dramas and we don’t need a new muse. There is only one Kate and we are not looking for a replacement. Kate has done 14 collections with us. It has been fantastic for us and fantastic for her, but they take more and more time and she cannot do this full-time any more because she has other commitments.”
Other fashion insiders say the partnership has ended because the supermodel’s last collection wasn’t as successful as the previous ones.
Mossy’s final collection for the British retailer will bow in October.
