Cole Sprouse is laughing at all of us!
As we wrote earlier this week, the Riverdale star and girlfriend Lili Reinhart have been addressing recent (false?) breakup reports, which seemingly reached an all-time high after fans noticed the distance between them at Comic-Con 2019.
Both stars have been known to joke about the public’s obsession with their relationship and Cole recently admitted he truly isn’t pressed about whatever theory followers come up with next!

While attending Variety‘s Power of Young Hollywood event at The H Club Los Angeles on Tuesday, the Jughead Jones portrayer told Entertainment Tonight that while he was “incredibly” annoyed at all the breakup gossip, he didn’t take the reports too seriously.
“I don’t care. That’s the nature of our industry.”
Way to call it like it is, dude!
Sprouse said he knows people are going to talk no matter what, but hopes fans can remember to be kind when speculating on his personal life. He added:
“I think you have to poke fun of it a little bit. It’s kind of something you sign up for, but as long as can keep it light and fun, it’s all good.”
That may be a tall order, Cole. LOLz. People love a juicy story, ourselves included!
We mean, we were pretty convinced the CW costars were really over for good after MULTIPLE sources close to the situation weighed in, including this confidant who dished to E! News:
“Lili and Cole broke-up earlier this summer. The two are not living together this season.”
At the time, a different insider told People the pair’s breakup had been looming for quite some time, adding:
“Their friends didn’t really expect them to last in the long run. At the end of the day, their personalities are very different and their lifestyles often clashed. Things have felt super heavy in the relationship for a while, and it got to be too much. They’re both very professional though and trying to be as amicable and friendly as possible.”
This was all seemingly debunked when the couple took to social media and shared their sexy joint cover for W Magazine, complete with witty quips to shade headlines reporting on their split.
The Hustlers star also recently showed her man a lot of love on Instagram for his 27th birthday when she shared the sweetest original poem for the former Disney Channel star, as you can read (below):
“I tried to find a poem
that I could send to you.
Because my words were failing me.
But I searched and found nothing that did you justice.
All of these love poems can’t get it right.
No one else’s words could ever fit.
They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you.-sappy nighttime birthday poem for @colesprouse”
Aww! If this doesn’t convince you true love still exists between them, we’re not sure what will!
But in all seriousness, if everything is all good between the lovebirds, we hope their relationship can survive the complicated landscape of being young and in-love in Hollywood. It sure ain’t easy!
