Is Colleen Hoover OK? Fans want to know after her eyebrow-raising videos this week!
Amid the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni legal drama, the It Ends With Us author sparked concern online on Tuesday morning when she posted multiple videos of herself on Instagram Stories, and something seemed… off. In them, she said she poured some Diet Pepsi into an ice tray to make ice cubes so she could have the “best Diet Pepsi” ever. You’ve probably seen this all over TikTok, where people make ice cubes either out of coffee or soda to keep their drink cold and prevent it from watering down, and Colleen apparently decided to test it out!

However, folks on the internet were not watching the videos because they wanted to see if the trend worked! They quickly became alarmed for her instead! And no, it’s not because she chose to drink Diet Pepsi over Diet Coke! The concern was about her behavior! In the clips, Colleen had slowed down speech and looked unfocused and exhausted. If you thought she appeared tired or upset before, just wait! Then the 45-year-old romance writer followed up the soda saga to call out her employee and even threatened to fire her publicly, all because of a merchandise issue! What! She said:
“Remember like five minutes ago when I ended the last video with it’s going to be a great day? Well, then I went into CoHorts, which is my Facebook group, and saw that my boss Stephanie put all of my merch on sale for $10 an item. That’s like five times cheaper than what I paid for each item, which means by the end of the day today I’m going to be broke as s**t. Thanks, Stephanie.”
Poor Stephanie may be out of a job soon! For her sake, hopefully, Colleen is actually being sarcastic here! Referencing a previous report from Deuxmoi about her alleged retirement, the novelist continued:
“You better be careful because maybe TMZ was right. Maybe I am firing all my employees and retiring. Well, I can’t retire now because now I’m going to be in the hole by 5 p.m. Even if you hate me you should go buy a piece because it’s a very kind of bad thing. At least I have my Diet Pepsi. It’s still going to be a great day ‘cause you guys get almost free merch. Congrats.”

What is going on?!? You would think Colleen would have been a little bit excited that day! Despite all the drama surrounding the film adaptation of her book It Ends With Us, her career is not slowing down anytime soon! Verity is currently shooting and the casting announcements for the upcoming movies of her books Reminders of Him and Regretting You dropped. She should be thrilled! However, it looks like she’s crashing out instead!
We can all guess why, too! It is probably because of Blake and Justin’s legal battle! She is likely under a ton of stress since she has been dragged into their messy lawsuits. Let’s not forget she also has faced a lot of backlash for initially supporting Blake amid the feud. The never-ending drama is a lot to handle for anyone, so it may be taking a toll on her.
