This is the Devil’s work!!
Once again, NBC has screwed over one of their very best shows.
The Four Horsemen network has just announced the season premiere of Community has been changed from Friday, Oct 19 to… sometime in the future … MAYBE!
The release of the sophomore season Whitney has also been held back indefinitely — but, honestly we are WAY more pissed about Community!
Here’s is NBC’s bullshiz reasoning for making this horrifying decision:
“Given the success we’ve had for the past four weeks – including winning the first week of the season in A18-49 – we’ve decided to continue to concentrate our promotional strength on our new NBC shows that are scheduled Monday through Wednesday, and have therefore decided to hold Community and Whitney from their previously announced premieres of October 19th.
Without having to launch these comedies on Friday at this time, we can keep our promotion focused on earlier in the week ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ plus we will have both comedies in our back pocket if we need to make any schedule changes on those nights. When we have a better idea of viewing patterns in the next few weeks, we will announce new season premieres of Whitney and Community.”
So… because The Voice is successful they’re afraid to air other good shows??
We just don’t get it.
Community assemble cast includes Joel McHale, Donald Glover and Alison Brie — three of the BIGGEST names in comedy right now!
One would think that the network would want to capitalize on their rising fame by giving the show the time slot AND the premiere date it deserves.
At least this is good news to someone. Chevy Chase is probs thrilled he doesn’t have to go back working on the show he calls the “lowest form of television” any time soon!
