Woe to the countries who have been denied Adam Lambert’s sparkle.
It seems that Russia and the Ukraine will not be seeing the Lamb and his lambettes any time soon, as someone at the UK-based Madison Universal royally effed up!
The company claims they booked Lambert to play 2 shows in Eastern Europe through Santa Monica talent agency Family Productions. They layed down 10% of the $80,000 it would supposedly cost and then were stuck waiting with their thumbs up – well, another part of their collective body.
After realizing the shows were never going to happen, reps at Madison Universal called Lambert’s agent Randy Salcedo at CAA who informed them that not only would Adam have never agreed to book a show for the paltry amount of 80 thou, it would cost AT LEAST $500,000 to fly him over the Atlantic and perform for our Russian and Ukranian friends.
Madison is now suing Family Productions for $25,000.
We wonder…did anyone at Madison Universal ever check if Family Productions was a legit company, of if they even had the authority to pimp out Lambert?? Because..um..that should be the FIRST question you ask. Right???
