And for the first time ever, Conan O’Brien will host the MTV Movie Awards!

The redhead late night host is set to emcee the long running award show on April 13th live from Los Angeles!
Conan released a statement explaining just how excited he is to get this gig, saying:
“After eight years of intense negations, I am honored to announce I am hosting MTV’s second most prestigious awards show.”
HA! He has us laughing already!
While this will be O’Brien’s big debut hosting the MTV Movie Awards, he’s no stranger to being the master of ceremonies!
He hosted the Emmys in 2002, 2003 and 2006, all to rave reviews!
But it’s been the ladies who have been SLAYING it up on stage this awards season! Think Conan can bring the funny as hard as Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Ellen DeGeneres did this year?
The 2014 MTV Movie nominees will be announced this Thursday!
