Finally!
A Senator who realized the Republicans are playing by different rules — and banking on Democrats to meekly follow them.
In the case of hearings on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, the Republicans have done everything they can to keep his views hidden — after all, they picked him specifically because of his stance on Roe v Wade and investigations into the POTUS.

They violated the rules by failing to disclose over 100,000 pages of his writings with no adequate explanation, then dumped over 40K to the Dems on the Judicial committee the night before the first hearing!
WHAT ARE THEY HIDING?
They also labeled some emails he wrote about his views on racial profiling “confidential” even though their release didn’t reveal national security secrets — just more of how this man thinks.
Well, Senator Cory Booker has had enough. Thursday morning he wrote:
What you do matters.
What you say matters.
No matter how big the fight
Or inevitable the conclusion seems
Stand up.
Speak up.
Wrong, temporarily victorious
Is never greater than Right, forever vigilant.

Then retweeted his earlier post, with the explanation of what he was searching for:
Emails with Supreme Court nominee Kavanaugh discussing racial profiling have been marked committee confidential. They have no personal information & pose no national security threat— why can't the American public see these documents? pic.twitter.com/FIZIKxuhNL

And then he dropped the bomb:
These are the 4 documents marked committee confidential that I brought up in my questioning of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh last night –> https://t.co/2RZkY2FS9a

He just released them to the public!
And what did he say when other senators across the aisle accused him of violating the rules?
“I come from a long line, as all of us do as Americans, that understand what that kind of civil disobedience is, and I understand the consequences.”
Like we said, hell yeah!
