This is so unbelievably sad!!!
Following a private viewing which included Lea Michele and most of his family, Cory Monteith was cremated Tuesday in Vancouver.
Unfortunately, the deceased actor’s father wasn’t invited to the viewing and never had a chance to say goodbye to his son!!
Grieving dad Joe Monteith admitted:
“I always loved both my sons and am going to miss Cory very very much. I’m saddened at the fact that I couldn’t have been there to see my son before he was cremated.”
Cory’s mother Ann acknowledged Joe had no opportunity to see his son one final time, and now she says he is “totally devastated.”
Joe also revealed he was “shocked” to learn of Cory’s drug use.
An autopsy earlier showed significant amounts of heroin and alcohol in the 31-year-old actor’s system at the time of his death.
Our hearts continue to go out to everyone affected by this horrific tragedy.
