We can’t even begin to imagine how difficult this must be for Lea Michele.
Prior to Cory Monteith’s premature death, the beloved Glee star was apparently planning a 27th birthday surprise for his Rachel Berry lady love.
A source revealed that Lea had mentioned she knew Cory was up to something — she was just unsure of the details:
“She didn’t know what [he was planning]… But she thought it could be a party and possibly a trip somewhere.”
Heartbreaking.
Though her birthday this August likely won’t feel the same without Cory, we’re sure her Glee family will be close by for support.
