We are still so saddened by the sudden passing of actor, Cory Monteith!
While waiting to hear the official cause of death, we can reflect and remember this young actor’s career cut waaay too short.
Cory appeared on Inside the Actors Studio along with some of his Glee castmates back 2012, and host James Lipton asked the actor one of his most famous questions regarding the afterlife:
“If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?”
In a statement released by Bravo, James remembered Cory’s response to the poignant question, explaining:
“Cory├óΓé¼Γäós God said, ├óΓé¼╦£Uh, sorry I haven’t been around. There├óΓé¼Γäós a good explanation. I certainly hope there is. We needed Cory├óΓé¼Γäós gifts.”
James thought back on the lovely moment when he had the chance to work with the passed actor on Glee:
├óΓé¼┼ôWhen I appeared as myself on Glee, I auditioned Cory├óΓé¼Γäós character, Finn, for the Actors Studio Drama School ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and rejected him. That├óΓé¼Γäós the way Ryan Murphy wrote it. I would have admitted him ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ in a New York minute.”
In tribute, Bravo will be re-airing his appearance on ITAS Thursday, July 18 at 6 p.m, and again on Friday, July 19 at 7 p.m.
