Cory Monteith Died Amidst Growing Deadly Fentanyl Drug Craze In Vancouver; 23 Deaths From It This Year!!!

We still have no idea what took Cory Monteith from us way too soon. So at this point, fans are just looking at every angle to try to find a reason for this tragedy.

The Glee star was an admitted addict, so naturally many are wondering if a relapse was to blame.

Well, if Cory did fall off the drug-free wagon, Vancouver was a scary place to do it. The British Columbia city is currently in the throes of a deadly new drug craze.

Fentanyl, a powerful prescription pain medication, is becoming a popular additive to heroin. The deadly mix has reportedly already caused at least 23 deaths in Vancouver just this year. Dr. Perry Kendall says:

“You never know what’s in a street drug within very large margins. Some of it is cut with fentanyl, some of it is actually fentanyl.”

Fentanyl has also become popular stateside on the streets of Chicago, Philadelphia, and Detroit.

Whether this has anything to do with Cory’s death we have no idea, but it’s one scary piece of information!
