We were so sad to learn that it was indeed drugs that killed our beloved Cory Monteith.
How did someone with so many people rooting for him and helping him to stay clean fall off the wagon?
According to one source, the Glee star just fell in with the “wrong crowd” — and onto bad habits — whenever he was in Vancouver. The source says:
“The clubs in Vancouver would send cars to get him to come in, and once he arrived, there were always people who could hook him up. His former dealers would always know when he was in Vancouver and would make fun of him for stopping taking drugs, which made him do it again to appear cool in their eyes. It was as if he owed them something.”
Ugh! Peer pressure?! We doubt it was as simple as that.
Cory’s addiction lasted so long, he clearly was going to have a lifelong struggle with it no matter where he was.
We’re just sad that the struggle resulted in such a premature death.
