We’re being told that the true reason for the split is that Jay was doing some things with another girl that made Kristin unhappy — unhappy to the point where Jay got cold feet and called off the engagement!
According to a source talking directly to us, the girl in question here is Haley Higgins. If you remember correctly, there was a bit of an unhappy love triangle going on back in September last year.
Now she’s resurfaced!
Our source reveals:
“Cutler watched Cavallari strut down the catwalk in a Mercedes Benz Fashion week event, while he was texting Haley Higgins AT THE SAME TIME. She went through his phone later and couldn’t believe he was texting her during her big show.
When Cavallari found out that Cutler was texting with her, she freaked out. Cutler explained that she is just a friend, but Cavallari started crying and turning it into a big deal, and it ruined their entire vacation. Cutler got cold feet. Called it off.”
Quite the drama!
After reports of Kristin’s friends saying that Jay is completely controlling, it doesn’t sit well with us that he wouldn’t allow her to do things, yet this is okay. Especially when he was supposed to be giving Kristin attention, but was instead focused on someone he has been linked to romantically before!
