Police in Nashville, Tennessee have arrested five children ranging from 12 to 16 years old — including two girls — for allegedly murdering country music singer Kyle Yorlets.
Yorlets, 24, was the lead singer of the country band Carverton.

The five children were allegedly attempting to steal the singer’s car out in the backyard behind his house, when he refused to hand over the keys — and so, they allegedly shot him.
According to cops, the kids apparently never got Yorlets’ car, but they did managed to steal his wallet.
The singer somehow made it back inside his home after being shot, but he later died; one of his roommates found him there some time later.
Here’s more on the case, and the eventual arrest of the five suspects (below):
So, so awful.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Yorlets and his family, friends, and loved ones.
