Couple Has Dog Cloned

A couple in Florida has too much time and money on their hands, as well as a nice case of the crazies.

Nina and Edgar Otto lost their beloved pooch, Lancelot, to cancer last year.

Since they obviously have no children, they decided to have Lancelot’s DNA frozen 5 years prior. Following Lancelot’s death, the Ottos paid $155,000 to San Francisco biotech firm to, yes, have Lancelot cloned.

10 weeks ago, Lancelot Encore came into the world in South Korea.

The Ottos claim that he is the first single-birth, commercially-cloned puppy in the United States and that they are officially the weirdest people in the world.
