Meet Ben and Rachel Lohnen.
The couple just had their fourth child together on Tuesday morning, and while their daughter Hazel may be perfect, having her was anything but.
That’s because when Ben was rushing Rachel to the hospital to give birth, Iowa Police thought their speeding car was up to no good.
In fact, the police gave chase to the Lohnens, and even went as far as calling for backup to lay down a spike strip to pop their tires!
Rachel spoke to ABC 7 News about the ordeal, saying:
“I did not want (Ben) to stop . . . I did not want to have a baby in the car.
Once they figured out I was pregnant and very much in labor, (the officers) all responded in kind and really appropriately.”
We can’t imagine what being in a police chase while in labor must have been like!

Once the police understood the situation, and put their drawn guns away (!), they escorted Rachel straight to the hospital where she gave birth to Hazel.
But, in the police’s defense, Ben was driving 85 mph in a 55 mph zone. But, then again, who could really blame him?
