Tough to hide away embarrassing old text messages when they come out in court!
At least that’s probably how Lady GaGa is feeling now after a series of her text messages with Kesha from way back in February 2016 were recently released in new court documents amid the latter’s ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke.

Except, these texts don’t have as much to do with Dr. Luke himself as they do with… Katy Perry, who GaGa didn’t hesitate to criticize, per Us Weekly.
In the texts, it’s reported that Kesha opens at one point by saying (below):
“[I] was crying a lot today and needed my mom. I’m really upset with Katy Perry … she could bring the whole thing to a head but she won’t.”
And after Kesha claimed that Perry and her were both raped at various points by “the same man,” Dr. Luke (this is a claim Katy has consistently denied, FYI), GaGa is reported to have responded:
In what appears to be a series of several texts back to Kesha, GaGa reportedly wrote out the following (below):
“She [Katy] is probably really afraid to lose everything … U [Kesha] are really strong standing up to him, she’s not as strong as u yet.”
Per the docs, Kesha responded again (below):
“your [sic] right. I need to find sympathy and empathy for her. she’s so mean. it’s hard.”
To which GaGa then responded (below):
“Do u want me to see if I can talk to her. I know she’s mean. … She makes me angry about sh*t [but] I just try to have empathy for her.”
Inneresting…

Well now, after the release of these texts, GaGa has again gone public, this time responding and reaching out to Katy directly to mend fences for fans (below):
So there you have it!
All’s well that ends well??
Well… we’ll see about that. But so far, so good, it seems!
