We hate it when fame comes between family members!
As you may recall, we told you on Wednesday how Courtney Stodden and her momager Krista Keller had officially parted ways professionally.
Well, while we heard rumors that Court’s sex tape may have had something to do with the rift, the 20-year-old is setting the record straight on what actually initiated the split.
In a handwritten statement, Courtney shared a note to her Twitter page on Thursday saying that it was her mother’s own desire to get into the limelight that strained their relationship:

Wow.
We expected there to be some follow out over ending their partnership, but we’d hate for such a young person to feel betrayed by their own mother!

Luckily, Courtney did say that she’ll always love Krista, so hopefully some time apart will mend their wounds.
