Craig Strickland Found Dead After He Went Missing For A Week

R.I.P.
This is so sad.
Craig Strickland has been found dead after a hunting trip had gone horribly wrong.
The Backroad Anthem frontman had been missing for seven days, and on Monday, a spokesperson for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol told E! News that the country crooner’s body had been discovered.
According to a press release, he was found at Bear Creek Cove, which was part of the original search area.
He was only 29 years old.

The spokesperson also explained that the musician’s family had been informed of the tragic discovery. The singer’s wife took to Twitter to share the terrible news with her followers, who had been looking to her for updates during this trying time.
She wrote:

As the search went on, the brunette beauty continued to share inspirational messages, and her husband’s father remained optimistic.
Craig’s loved ones first became concerned when his friend, Chase Morland, was found dead a week ago, after the two had set out to hunt ducks in Kay County, Oklahoma.
Their boat had capsized in a lake after they experience horrible weather.
Sadly, Chase was aware that the weather was going to be rough, because he took to social media to share this now-heartbreaking message:

Craig must’ve also known a storm was coming, because he retweeted his buddy’s post.
We can’t even imagine what Chase and Craig’s loved ones must be feeling right now. Our hearts are with everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.
