This is absurd.
Neiman Marcus is selling the Cupcake Car, and they are selling it hard. Aiming to capitalize on the upcoming holiday season, the Neiman’s product description of the car actually asks the customer, “Ever had a crowd of kids chasing after you just for the gleeful heck of it?”
The real question is, “would you pay $25,000 to look like an idiot driving a cupcake?” And yes, you read that right. The 24-volt electric motorized cupcake, which tops off at 7mph, is retailing at $25,000 dollars.
If you are interested in wasting money driving a pastry, your cupcake will come custom with its own toppings.
Somehow we bet that in this economy, eating a cupcake is a lot more satisfying!
