Do you believe in life after NBC?! We can feel something inside us say we really DO think we’re strong enough!
Creator Dan Harmon made a lot of Community fans feel “meh” after saying he said that the idea of the show continuing somewhere else for a 6th season was in the “eh” column.
But now, he’s backtracked a bit and given more hope to the loyal Community members out there on his blog:
“I will confess, however, that when Sony called me on Friday with the news, there was brief discussion at the end of the call about the concept of the show living elsewhere, and I was definitely in the ├óΓé¼┼ôeh├óΓé¼┬¥ column. For a million reasons, some selfish, some creative, one logistic, five sexual, three racist (in a good way) and, oddly, nine isometric. I won├óΓé¼Γäót bore you with them. I mean, of course I will bore you with them. Boring you is my job, my hobby and my passion. But it doesn├óΓé¼Γäót matter right now WHY I├óΓé¼Γäód be lukewarm or if my reasons would be valid, what matters is, I won├óΓé¼Γäót be lukewarm. I├óΓé¼Γäóll heat up. I said ├óΓé¼┼ôeh├óΓé¼┬¥ on a Friday afternoon, I will change it to a ├óΓé¼┼ôsure, let├óΓé¼Γäós talk├óΓé¼┬¥ on Monday morning and Sony can do their thing. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not going to be the guy that recancels cancelled Community.”
Well, that makes us all feel a little better!
It’s your move now, TV.
