This is so sad to hear.
We told you about Scott Stapp‘s recent problems earlier this week, but it seems things are much worse and much scarier than it all originally seemed.
It is reported that Scott was placed on a psych hold after suffering alleged drug-fueled paranoid delusions. We hear he believes he is a marked man and thinks his kids will be attacked by ISIS.
A Madison County Florida Sheriff’s Dept. report allegedly shows that he was found on the side of the road on November 13th appearing wasted, rambling, and claiming someone was trying to poison him. That led to him being placed on a 72-hour psych hold.
His wife, who recently filed for divorce, Jaclyn Stapp, also recently filed new legal docs reporting that he is out of his mind and could be at risk of killing his AA sponsor and himself, as he has threatened to do.
She has also been adamant that he’s been on a drug binge fueled by steroids, weed, cocaine, PCP, Special K, Crystal meth, and various Rx drugs.
But now, she has dismissed her latest filing to lock him up, and instead she hopes to work with Scott to get him the help he needs.
We’re not sure what will happen with these two as this scary situation continues, but we hope they both end up safe and healthy.
