The Critics’ Choice Awards honored Spotlight, the moving story of the reporters who uncovered a decades-long history of covering up child molestation in the Catholic Church, with the Best Picture Award.
And while that may not seem like much of a surprise, remember it had to beat fellow noms The Big Short, Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, Carol, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Martian, The Revenant, Room, Sicario.
