Today is heavy with the weight of tragedy.
We’re learning even more devastating news as a Cuban passenger plane carrying more than 100 people crashed shortly after takeoff from Havana’s main airport. The Boeing 737 jet was en route from Jose Marti International Airport to the eastern Cuban city of Holguin.

According to reports, just three survivors were pulled from the wreckage and are currently in critical condition.
Images coming from the scene show the plane blackened and burned. The exact number of casualties has not been confirmed, and we will keep you updated as more information surfaces.
