Sources reveal that Cybill Shepherd will be making her comeback to television in the fall with ABC’s new pilot, My Freakin’ Family.
The show revolves around a young couple who become parents and are inundated by the opinions of their own, culturally diverse in-laws. Cybill will be playing the “uptight and sophisticated mom” to the young father, Raj. She’s described as a Caucasian “but dresses in the traditional Indian garb and wants to be involved in baby Clark’s life so he doesn’t turn out ‘white’ like her son.”
Oh, we can already see people getting unnecessarily uncomfortable with this. Be prepared for that, ABC.
