Cyndi Lauper wants her fans to adopt abandoned animals by supporting shelters.
She has signed up as a spokesperson for the North Shore Animal League America organization’s Tour For Life campaign.
The campaign promotes pet adoption instead of shopping for them.
She said:
“I am excited to join Tour For Life and encourage animal lovers to welcome shelter pets, also known as Mutt-i-grees, into their homes.
There are so many beautiful and healthy animals in shelters, making the responsible choice an easy one – animal lovers can show their true colors by adopting a pet and saving a life.”
