In a recent interview, Da Brat was asked her opinion on the rise of fellow female rapper Nicki Minaj and her rise to fame. On like others in the industry who feel the need to continually hate on Nicki’s talents, Da Brat had nothing but good things to say about her. She told sources:
“I listened to Nicki Minaj├óΓé¼Γäós album and liked it. She├óΓé¼Γäós not keeping herself in a bubble. I like the diversity and that it├óΓé¼Γäós working for her. Because at one point they weren├óΓé¼Γäót letting female rappers do too much. It was either your selling sex or your being hard. But she gets to do both. That├óΓé¼Γäós a good thing.”
