It’s sabotaging the airline industry!
Airlines have lost at least $1.7 billion because of the travel disruptions caused by the volcanic ash from Iceland!
The head of the International Air Transport Association is encouraging the European governments to come up with a way to compensate the airlines for the loss, similar to the US government after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The ash is clearing slowly but surely so hopefully everything will be back to normal soon!
