Yes, we’re STILL talking about this!
When Lost aired its season finale back in 2010 nearly almost everyone was left disappointed.
The show’s Executive Producer, Damon Lindelof, has a message for all fans that didn’t like his ending: Suck it!
Okay, he didn’t say “suck it,” but he DID say if he had the chance to rewrite it, he wouldn’t.
In a final attempt to settle the score with an angry fan / interviewer, Damon said:
“There were a bunch of other writers on the show, but in terms of my own feelings of how the [show’s] ending I made no apologies for it. I do feel like that was the ending I wanted to do. I was always comfortable with the ambiguity of the show.”
He goes on to say the ONLY regret he has about is work on Lost is saying “the answers are coming” in interviews.
He admits that there was a while during the first few seasons when the writers were just making shiz up! According to DL, they did a lot of “improvising” in the writer’s room until they got an end date for the show and had to wrap things up.
Like polar bears perhaps??
OMG! Well, at least he liked the ending!
