Dana came up with the idea to use Swarovski crystals — up to 50 to 75 per nail!!!
The result is a shine brighter than the sun! And they last up to one whole month!
Watch the video (above) to see Dana in action!
Or follow a step-by-step GIF tutorial (below)!
Step 1: Start with your base glitter nail, matching the nail polish color to the Swarovski crystals you plan to use.

Step 2: After applying the glitter polish, apply a thin layer of a gel adhesive. Using too much glue can make the crystals end up looking cloudy and dull, ruining the effect.

Step 3: Using a Crystal Katana rhinestone pick-up tool, like this one, and carefully place each Swarovski stone onto the nail. Start with the larger size stone then gradually fill in the nail with smaller and smaller pieces.

TIPS:
Dana applies the crystals in a balanced pattern, starting with a five-point star shape. Then she adds crystals in various sizes to fill in all the space on the nail until it is fully covered.
She also prefers to apply the polish and crystals over a shellac polish. Even though Treasure Nails can be done on a natural nail, the oils may cause the crystals to fall off.
Moreover, it’s very important to let the glue dry COMPLETELY before doing anything. It’s also advisable to avoid doing the dishes, LOLz!
Shine on!
