Daniel Radcliffe Doesn't Use His Harry Potter Money! But How Many Millions Is He NOT Spending??

With the lead role in eight of the biggest films of all time, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe could probably live like a king.
But we guess he’s over the whole castle thing — because he doesn’t spend much of his millions at all!

In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph, the 27-year-old said he doesn’t make Gringott’s withdrawals nearly as much as you’d think. He said:

“I don’t really do anything with my money.”

How much money are we talking?
Reports vary, but DanRad is generally estimated to have a net worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $80-95 million. That’s a nice neighborhood!
The Imperium star once said the most important thing he does with his wealth is give to charities.
But really the best thing about having money for the actor is that he doesn’t have to think about the paycheck when taking acting jobs. He explained:

“I’m very grateful for it, because having money means you don’t have to worry about it, which is a very lovely freedom to have. It also gives me immense freedom, career-wise. I feel you have a responsibility when you can be that choosy. For all the people who’ve followed my career, I want to give them something to be interested in, rather than them just watch me make loads of money on crap films for the rest of my life.”

What a great attitude!
Since Potter, Daniel has acted in indies such as Kill Your Darlings, Horns, and Swiss Army Man and in plays like the acclaimed Martin McDonagh‘s The Cripple Of Inishmaan.

He says he wants to continue working in such diverse, challenging projects up until the moment he dies on set:

“I want to ruin someone’s day. I want to have them suddenly go, ‘Dan’s just dropped dead in front of the camera; we have to get his double on.'”

LOLz! Well, that’s something money can’t buy!
