We’re sad to report that Daniel von Bargen has passed away.
The character actor best known for his role as George’s boss Mr. Kruger on Seinfeld died on Tuesday after a long battle with an unspecified illness.
It is not known at this time whether von Bargen’s death is connected with his attempt to take his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound just three years ago.
Also known for his turns on Malcolm in the Middle and in movies like Super Troopers and O Brother Where Art Thou?, von Bargen was often unforgettable even in supporting roles.
So sad.
