Inconvenience to the city or not, this is actually a really spectacular thing for them — and hopefully it’ll boost the city into being even more of a major film location!
Christian Bale sat down for a press conference and talked a little bit about the city’s hospitality… and the city’s heat right now.
“Well, I hope that all of you guys are going to feel cooler ’cause of the fake snow, I certainly won’t be — stuck in that rubber suit all the time.
“I’ve never been to Pittsburgh before,” he told a room packed with writers, photographers and select guests of the Pittsburgh Film Office. “There will be fighting on the streets a great deal. Thank you so much for your generosity of spirit and hospitality ahead of time, and we’ll try and stay out of your hair as much as possible and hopefully leave with good memories for everybody.”
We can’t even imagine what it’d be like to be in that suit with all that heat!
Christopher Nolan also took some time to thank the city. From all this thanking, which we feel goes beyond common courtesy, we get the feeling that some crazy shizz is about to go down in the city for some action sequences!
