Worse comes to worst, maybe Darren Aronofsky can direct the reboot of the upcoming reboot of Superman. It’s probably time for them to start setting that up soon!
Black Swan director Aronofsky is reportedly in talks with Christopher Nolan about the possibility of directing the next Superman project.
The indie director has been attached to other major franchise reboot projects in the past, including Batman: Year One and a Robocop reboot.
As far as superhero movie credibility is concerned, his name has even been thrown around as a potential director for Wolverine 2.
Aronofsky could be an inneresting match for this project, although last time he tried to create an epic film, we ended up with The Fountain. Maybe this could be his chance to make up for that.
