Dave Bautista Reveals Incredible Body Transformation On TIFF Red Carpet!

Dave Bautista Weight Loss Transformation Red Carpet Photos

Wow, Dave Bautista is almost unrecognizable! Well, from behind certainly — without being able to see all those tattoos.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star stepped out on the TIFF red carpet over the weekend — and we learned he has dropped a seriously jaw-dropping amount of weight since the last time we saw him! He’s looking downright svelte!

This is the Dave we expect on the red carpet…

And here’s how he was looking in Toronto!

We mean, we know black is slimming but WHAAAAA!

It turns out this is part of the plan for the former wrestling star. He explained in a press junket interview for his new film The Killer’s Game just a couple weeks back:

“I’m getting super trimmed. This is probably the lightest I’ve been since I was 19 years old.”

Wow! He really is dropping all that wrestling muscle and moving into a new era!

Interviewer Chris Van Vliet asked just how much weight he’d lost, which was a complicated question for a man who’s been into bodybuilding for so long. Dave explained:

“The heaviest I’ve ever been is 370 lbs. When I started Deacon [his early wrestling alias], I was about 325 lbs. Throughout most of my wrestling career I was about 290 lbs. Now I’m about 240 lbs.”

Wow! What a big change! But he hasn’t dropped 50. No, the wrestling weight was a slimmer Bautista. For his role as a burly stranger in Knock At The Cabin, which filmed in 2022, he got up to 315 lbs!

“And that’s when the nightmare started. Getting that weight off has been a challenge.”

As a wrestler he knows how to cut weight the healthy way — but still, at 55 years old that’s gotta be tough! He says he’s “particular about my diet.” Which… yeah, you’d have to be to get rid of 75 lbs in a year and a half!

Dave has been open about suffering from body dysmorphia back in his wrestling days, never thinking he was big enough. It’s nice to see he’s feeling good about not being huge anymore. It’s got to be easier to maintain going forward — and maybe it will even open up more roles for the Dune star.

What do YOU think of Dave’s new look?
