Daveigh Chase‘s former manager and old friend is really worried about that GoFundMe campaign.
As you know, the Lilo & Stitch actress sadly died earlier this week after some health complications. Her boyfriend Roy Hernandez set up a GoFundMe to help cover her medical expenses — but her ex-manager is urging people not to donate to it. He said to TMZ on Thursday:
“A man claiming to be Daveigh’s boyfriend has launched a GoFundMe page purportedly on behalf of Daveigh and her family. Neither her family nor her close friends know who this person is.”

Whoa. None of her family or friends know who Roy is? He continued:
“I can confirm Daveigh has a SAG trust account with more than enough funds to cover all medical and related expenses.”
He also said Daveigh’s father is in contact with the hospital to claim his daughter… Which is a problem for Roy, who also told the outlet this is “100 percent” false and unfair.
Roy said he was just going to use the GFM campaign to raise money for a proper memorial service for her. But that’s not going to be possible if Daveigh’s dad takes control of everything.
We really hope Daveigh’s family and loved ones are able to figure all this out while they grieve. Such a sad situation.
