Boy With Down Syndrome Becomes High School Basketball Star!

Boy With Down Syndrome Becomes High School Basketball Star!

This is what happens when you give the underdogs a chance!
Mimicking the stellar rise of Jeremy Lin, a Tennessee teenager with down syndrome surprised his entire high school when he was finally given a chance to get off the bench and play on the basketball team.
His coach was hesitant to let him play as an effort to continue the team’s near-perfect season, but after they racked up enough points for an assured victory one night, David Andrews had his shot — a three-point shot to be specific.
It turns out, the freshman player’s speciality were free throws from the three-point line and he’s statistically better than most NBA stars, including Kobe Bryant!
Since that fateful game, he’s played in every game and went on to help his team win the county championship!
Check out the video above for more on this amazing story and remember, it’s impossible for anyone to prove themselves without an opportunity, so ALWAYS give people a chance!
