The former Englad captain suggested that in order to get the soccer team he’s trying to start in Miami off the ground, he might consider suiting up and playing as well!
He recently said in an interview:
“There’s never been a player-owner but maybe?├óΓé¼┬¥
Since hanging up his cleats a year ago, David has been enjoying his well-deserved rest. But he admitted it hasn’t been easy to watch others play professional sports and accept that his own career is over.
He continued, spilling:
“Now I go to watch a basketball game and, when you are watching athletes play at the top of their game, it gives me that itch again and I want to be back in the game and I start thinking to myself ‘Could I play again? Could I go back? Could I come out of retirement and start playing again?├óΓé¼Γäó”
Yes, yes and YES!
We’d so love to see David bring his soccer team to South Florida!
And with Beckham bending it in front of fans, we’re certain his team would sell seats NO PROBLEMO!
