This afternoon, David Cassidy pled no contest to his DUI charge stemming from last year and managed to avoid jail time. Sources report that instead, Cassidy received a majorly reduced sentence of one-year probation and a six-month license suspension. He was also ordered to perform 50 hours of community service, pay $500 in fines and attend a mandatory alcohol-education course and a DUI “victim impact panel.”
All sounds pretty reasonable to us, especially that DUI “victim impact panel.” Hopefully, that experience will give the former teen idol a bit more perspective.
