David Hasselhoff Thinks He's Going To Star In The Remake Of WHAT!?

Hasselhoff wants to star in GWTW remake
David Hasselhoff is the star of this weekend’s most ridiculous sequel, Piranha 3DD. Naturally, after headlining the campy horror film, he’s ready for his chance at an Oscar by starring in the mother of all remakes.
The 59-year-old told sources that he’s hoping he’ll be cast in an updated version of Gone With The Wind! While talking about how disappointed his manager was in him for choosing the bloody sequel, he explained:

“He wants me to do a Knight Rider film or Nick Fury, which I was supposed to do, or a remake of Gone With the Wind … Hopefully the Gone With the Wind will come, hopefully something great will happen.”

LOL!
Sorry for laughing there, but…c’mon.
We’ve got nothing but love for The Hoff and hope he has some great opportunities coming his way, but we don’t think taking over Clark Gable‘s most iconic role will be one of them.
First of all, if Hollywood touches Gone With The Wind, we’re pretty sure there will be an army of angry fans ready to burn this town down. If Hollywood casts The Hoff in the lead role? We’re pretty sure they’ll just straight up drop an atomic bomb!
When asked who his leading lady should be, the actor said, “I think that actress, Rachel Rice ├óΓé¼┬ª”
Who’s Rachel Rice? Did he mean to say Rachel Weisz?
Of course he did! “Oh, yeah. Oof! I think she’s hot,” he added upon the correction.
The LOL’s just keep coming with this guy. Ha!
In The Hoff’s defense, however, we think he could pull off a supporting role in this alleged remake that we hope never actually gets remade.
