As one of the world’s premiere photographers, David LaChapelle usually has to stay pretty calm.
But according to a new lawsuit brought by art gallery director James Parmenter, the artist went psycho on him at LaChapelle’s former manager’s apartment! The lawsuit says:
“LaChapelle pushed and threw Parmenter around the apartment, including into the bed, exercise equipment and closet, and choked Parmenter nearly to the point of unconsciousness.”
Whoa! Unfortunately there’s no mention of why LaChapelle would do this, so clearly we aren’t hearing the whole story!
What Parmenter is saying is that his cuts and bruises and mental suffering are worth a MILLION dollars!
LaChapelle certainly has the money — his originals go for as much as $100,000 apiece!
But did this really go down so violently? We sure hope not!
