David Spade Digs Up His Old Joe Dirt Mullet For The Sequel! First Look At The Legendary Character's Return!

David Spade just announced that he’s reprising his role as Joe Dirt for a sequel!
David posted the above pic to his Instagram on Monday confirming both the movie, and the return of his signature mullet.
And this isn’t just a movie 14 years in the making, it’s actually making history, too!
That’s because the movie is going to be released on Sony‘s Crackle video player, making it the first ever sequel intended for a digital platform.

The original comedy came out in 2001 and was written by David and Fred Wolf, who will both be coming back for the second one, entitled Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser.
Filming is currently taking place in Louisiana, and will be ready for your viewing pleasure sometime in 2015.
Now if we’re on the topic of early 2000s David Spade movies that need sequels, we’re gonna go ahead and throw Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star into the ring.
That’d be nuckin’ futs!
