Brooklyn Beckham may not want anything to do with his famous family in private, but when it comes to making a quick buck, he’s gotta be grateful for this feud!
The oldest son of David and Victoria shocked the internet when appearing in a new DoorDash ad on Monday. It not only hyped up the FIFA World Cup, but totally dissed his soccer star dad! In the short clip, Brooklyn sits at home, saying:
“You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home… It’s a long story.”

He laughs before tossing a pile of tickets on a table and standing up. A caption then reads:
“It’s complicated. More soon.”
Dang! So this isn’t even the end of the shady ads!
Also on the table? According to The US Sun, the watch shown above a stack of unopened letters is a $335,000 designer watch gifted to him by David. Oh, boy. And this comes RIGHT after Brooklyn’s younger sister Harper was photographed leaving a letter outside his LA home, in a move he thinks was staged. Oof. Crazy timing!

The whole Beckham family is now FUMING over this obvious cash grab! Speaking to The US Sun on Monday, a source close to the family called the ad an “attack,” complaining:
“To do an ad based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke when his family is devastated and sister and grandparents are inconsolable… It just seems a tad hypocritical from someone claiming to want peace and privacy and [then] trying to cash in on it all.”
The source doubled down:
“He says he wants nothing to do with his family, but is now trading off them by using one of his footballing father’s legacies — the World Cup — as an advertising selling point.”
Now, one might argue that the aspiring chef needs to do whatever it takes to bring in some money now that he’s estranged from his rich parents, but his family doesn’t think this is the way:
“Brooklyn is absolutely entitled to go and make his own money — his parents laud such ambition — but taking the mick out of a deep-rooted, heartbreaking family situation is not the one.”
It’s especially noteworthy considering Brooklyn’s taken legal action to urge his parents to stop talking to and about him. He doesn’t even want them mentioning him on social media, and they finally seem to be getting the hang of that. But now, Brooklyn goes and does this! It’s definitely a double standard…
