Inneresting! It finally comes out!
David Letterman recently opened up about what REALLY caused his feud with Oprah Winfrey!
Many speculated that it started because of his 1995 Academy Awards monologue, but the late-night talk show host revealed that it actually started way before that, while the two were vacationing at the same locale!
He explains:
“This predates the Academy Awards. She hated me long before then. She was with Steadman, I was with my then-girlfriend Regina. We were both at a restaurant having lunch on vacation. I said to Regina, ‘Oh, this is hilarious, I’m gonna make Oprah buy us lunch.'”
He then told the waiter “Oh, this woman right over there has been kind enough to take care of our check. We got a free lunch and that’s where it started.”
Wow! That’s it?!
LOLs!
We were hoping for something a little more juicy!
Whatevs, though! Those two have been fine since 2005, so we suppose it doesn’t matter anymore!
But it’s still pretty HIGHlarious!
