Film Flickers

Dear Twi-Hards...

If you’ve read Breaking Dawn, the final book in the Twilight series, then you know that whoever was chosen to direct the film must have a sense of humor.

Luckily, the recently-chosen Bill Condon seems like the right man for the job.

The Dreamgirls director posted an open-letter to fans on the film’s Facebook page, addressing the letter to “Twihards, Twifans, Twilight Moms, Team Edward, Team Jacob and Team Switzerland.”

He tells fans that he’s read the book twice and has watched Twilight and New Moon up to three times each. He also goes on to say that “a corner of my office is starting to look like Hot Topic.”

And don’t worry, Twi-Hards, he’s a “huge admirer of the already-iconic Kristen, Robert, and Taylor, and wanted to be the one to work with them as they face the challenges of bringing your beloved characters to the end of their journeys.”

Well if anyone has the skills to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen, it’s this guy. Ahem, can we just say “imprinting??”
